Finding answers and asking Questions

If you have a question about your phone, your account or about 2degrees, chances are that someone else has had the same question. There are two ways to find answers:

1. You can browse questions already answered by topic by clicking on the Topics tab from the homepage
   
   
2. You ask a question in the search field at the top of each page. This question will be submitted to the 2degrees Community giving other people the opportunity to respond and help out
   
   

Asking a question to the community

1. In the search box (located at the top of the page), type your question, e.g. How do I set up sending photos on my Huawei G7010 phone?
   
   
2. If your question has been asked before, or is similar to other questions already asked, a list of previously asked questions will appear. Check to see if any of these help you with your problem
   
   
3. If the previously asked questions don't help, then click the green button that says 'Submit your question'. You'll be taken to a page where you'll be prompted to add more detail to your question
   
   
4. Select a topic and sub-topic that your question relates to, e.g. Prepay > Topping up
   
   
5. Your question entered in the main search bar will be displayed. The first part should be a summary of your question, e.g. How do I set up sending photos on my Huawei G7010 phone?
   
   
6. The second text box allows you to add more detail to your question, e.g. I have a new Huawei G7010 phone and can't get it to send photos via PXT. I tried going in through settings, and turning on MMS, but it still doesn't work. Help please?!!
   
   
7. We need to know your mobile number so you can earn credit on your mobile. We also need a valid email address so we can let you know if someone's either answered your question or your answer to a question has been marked as the best. We only ask for this information once and it won't be displayed to the community
   
   
8. Read and accept the terms and conditions, and then submit your question. Your question is now out there for someone to answer!
   
   

Receiving answers and marking one as the best

1. Once your question is submitted, anyone in the community can answer it. People can see it in the Recent activity tab or the Unanswered questions tab on the main homepage
   
   
2. It's also added to your Activity page, which you can get to from the link in the Activity Panel on the left hand side of the page
   
   
3. When someone has added an answer to your question, we'll let you know via email;
   
   
4. Whoever's response best answers your question, you need to click 'This solved my question'. Your question status will become answered and that person will be sent an email letting them know
